Yuvajana Sakhyam

"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1 Tim. 4:12).


The Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam was organized with a view to help the youths of the Mar Thoma church to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour; to train in worship and the fellowship of Christian life; to participate in the mission of the Church; to have faith in Christian values; to organize and conduct camps, meetings, discussions to increase the knowledge and experience of youth in the Holy Bible, church's faith and practice


Immanuel Marthoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam is a group of youth and young families who Uphold the traditional values, culture, artifacts and foster & promote cultural heritage of India, Kerala in particular along with the understanding, importance of being and leading a Christian life with the challenges face in today’s world. The main emphasis is given on living a life according to our motto, “Worship, Study, Witness and Service’.


Immanuel Marthoma Church Yuvajana Sakhyam members meet once every month as cottage prayer meeting. The cottage prayer meetings include the Singing sessions, Bible Reading, Debate topics, Bible Quiz programs and other entertaining activities. The messages are mostly delivered by our achen’s. During their absences we invite renowned speakers to serve us with the word of God.

Other programs we volunteer are:
- Relief & Resuce Volunteers during Disasters
- Activitly involve in chartiable works, donating the time, effort & money for a cause.
- On Yuvajana Sakhyam Sunday Sakhyam members lead the service
- Join hands with YFF & Sunday School to Conduct the Church Picnic.
- Organise and Serve Onam Sadhya during Onam Celebrations at Church
- Work closely to take care of Eco Garden near our parsonage
- Help with Maramon Convention CD Sales at church.

We hosted (in 2017):
- Yuvajana Sakhyam South West Regional One day retreat
- Kalamela 2017
- 3 day Sakhyam Retreat at Camp Mohawk
